Full-time, non-management AC Technician position at Marriott's West Bay location in Doha.
The position is not remote.
Maintenance and repair duties
- Respond to guest repair requests and resolve maintenance issues.
- Perform preventive maintenance; inspect, clean, and lubricate tools and equipment.
- Maintain maintenance inventory, requisition supplies, and communicate shift handovers.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment, pumps and motors, plumbing, electrical systems, guestroom items, and internet devices.
- Perform repairs across refrigeration, mechanical, plumbing, controls, carpentry, kitchen equipment, and building systems according to skill level.
- Program televisions; assist with painting, drywall and trim repair, bulbs, A/C filters, and work-area cleanup.
- Use Lockout/Tagout and engineering programs; perform mid-level hotel MEP troubleshooting.
- Train and mentor engineers and perform Engineer on Duty readings and rounds.
Required qualifications
- Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification is required.
- Must meet applicable certification and licensing requirements.
Preferred qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent with vocational or technical background preferred.
- General maintenance, surface preparation, and painting experience preferred.
- At least two years of hotel engineering or maintenance experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
Work environment and standards
- Follow company safety, security, quality, guest-service, confidentiality, and asset-protection standards.
- Role involves lifting, carrying, stairs, ramps, ladders, and other physical maintenance tasks.
