Senior System Engineer role focused on corporate solutions.
Education and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related engineering or business field.
- Minimum 9 years of progressive and directly related experience.
Knowledge and skills
- Strong knowledge and experience in software procurement procedures, requirements and systems analysis, tendering, vendor negotiation, SDLC, and information security requirements.
- People management, problem-solving, persuasion, negotiation, decision-making, teamwork, written and verbal communication, and leadership skills are sought.
- PMP training is noted, with certification preferred.
- High-level design document experience is listed.
Responsibilities
- Apply software procurement procedures and contribute to requirements and systems analysis.
- Handle tendering procedures and vendor negotiations.
- Work with software development lifecycle and information security requirements.
- Prepare or work with high-level design documentation.
- Manage people and contribute to team decision-making and problem-solving.
