Role overview

Responsibilities

• Coordinate yard activities, equipment movements, asset allocation, dispatch schedules, and operational requests.
• Maintain equipment, vehicle, materials, inventory, and transaction records; track incoming and outgoing assets and investigate discrepancies.
• Review inspection reports, condition records, checklists, and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, maintenance, transport, and operations teams; monitor inspections and follow up on damage, maintenance, or safety concerns.
• Prepare activity summaries, inventory reports, inspection logs, and status updates; follow documentation and safety procedures.
• Escalate damaged or missing assets, documentation gaps, and operational risks; recommend process improvements.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in yard operations, logistics coordination, equipment inspection, inventory control, or a related field is preferred.
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent in logistics, supply chain management, operations, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Understanding of asset tracking, inventory documentation, inspection procedures, and operational coordination.
• Strong organization and attention to detail; proficiency in Microsoft Excel, digital reporting tools, and inventory or asset management systems.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills; ability to prioritize, maintain accurate records, coordinate across teams, and work independently remotely.
• Professional certifications are not required; relevant equipment or safety inspection training is an advantage.
