Role overview

What you will do

• Engineer and maintain software, scripts, and tools that may be complex.
• Produce critical software rapidly and to a high quality standard.
• Work across development, enhancement, maintenance, replacement, and decommissioning.
• Design, produce, test, and implement code across the software lifecycle.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, business analysts, and other stakeholders.
• Support requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and operations.
• Help optimize the organization’s software engineering capability.

Required experience and skills

• Background in software engineering, software design, and architecture.
• At least 8 years of hands-on experience with Java Microservices, Core Java, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, AWS services, and cloud architecture.
• Expertise in CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation, and automation.
• Experience with container platforms such as Docker, ECS, EKS, Kubernetes, or Lambda.
• Experience with event-driven architecture such as Kafka.
• Experience with AWS Lake Formation.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as CloudWatch, Grafana, Splunk, Datadog, or Prometheus.
• Understanding of networking, security, scalability, and reliability principles.

Location and work arrangement

• The role is based in India, and normal working days must be carried out in India.
• The source lists Chennai, India as the role location.
