Overview
- Supervise day-to-day operations in the fabrication workshop, ensuring optimal workflow and
- resource allocation.
- Interpret engineering drawings and fabrication blueprints.
- Plan, schedule, and allocate jobs to workshop personnel in accordance with project
requirements
- .
- Ensure that all fabrication works, including cutting, welding, bending, and assembling, meet
- quality standards and specifications.
- Enforce strict compliance with HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards and ensure safe
- work practices are followed.
- Conduct routine inspections of workshop tools, machinery, and equipment to ensure operational
- readiness and initiate maintenance as needed.
- Provide technical guidance and training to workshop personnel.
- Monitor stock levels of fabrication materials (e.g., steel plates, pipes, welding rods) and
- coordinate with procurement for timely replenishment.
- Maintain detailed records of work progress, labor, material usage, and job completion.
- Liaise with project engineers, QA/QC inspectors, and clients as required.
- Implement continuous improvement practices to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
