Workshop Foreman

Key Responsibility Areas

• Control and supervise all workshop activities.
• Distribute jobs to technicians and get feedback after completion.
• Perform periodic vehicle maintenance including complete inspection.
• Coordinate with procurement to purchase spare parts and tires for trucks and trailers.
• Carry out necessary vehicle repair and coordinate with the fleet department for vehicles passing.
• Prepare quotations for accident vehicle repairs and coordinate approval with workshop management and procurement.
• Attend drivers' queries on vehicle technical faults, verify drivers' vehicle repair bills, and coordinate expense reimbursement.
• Coordinate with overseas mechanics on breakdowns and accidents and negotiate repair costs and spare parts purchases.
• Instruct technicians to rectify problems on tools, equipment, and workshop assets.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly workshop activity reports.
• Maintain cleanliness in the workshop.
• Coordinate with workshop management to execute work plans and follow up on final road tests to certify vehicle condition.
