Seeking a skilled, detail-oriented Web Developer with strong HTML and WordPress experience.
Develop, maintain, and optimize websites to deliver responsive, user-friendly, high-quality web experiences.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and update websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WordPress.
- Build and customize WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.
- Create responsive, mobile-friendly web pages and convert designs and requirements into functional pages.
- Troubleshoot and fix website issues, bugs, and performance problems.
- Manage WordPress content, pages, plugins, themes, and website settings.
- Optimize websites for speed, performance, usability, and SEO.
- Ensure compatibility across browsers and devices; implement updates, improvements, and new features.
- Coordinate with SEO, content, and marketing teams on website requirements.
- Maintain website security, backups, and regular updates.
Requirements and preferred skills
- At least 3 years of professional web development experience.
- Strong knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3; hands-on WordPress experience with themes, plugins, and customization.
- Good knowledge of JavaScript; basic PHP knowledge is preferred.
- Understanding of responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Knowledge of website speed optimization and Core Web Vitals; basic understanding of SEO and website performance optimization.
- Google Analytics and Google Search Console familiarity is advantageous.
- Website hosting, domains, DNS, and SSL knowledge is advantageous.
- Basic PHP, MySQL, and Git knowledge is a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Pay
- AED 6,000–8,000 per month.
Work location and mode
- Dubai, UAE.
- On-site; work location is in person.
