Required experience

  • 8+ years of software engineering experience, including substantial enterprise web application delivery.
  • 3+ years in engineering management, architecture leadership, or leadership of development teams and client deliveries.
  • Deep JavaScript and TypeScript expertise and experience with at least one of React, Angular, or Vue.
  • Experience with modern web architectures, APIs, cloud integration, identity, security, observability, performance, and resilience.
  • Experience with responsive design, WCAG accessibility, cross-browser compatibility, automated testing, CI/CD, and modern build tooling.
  • Experience documenting and communicating architecture decisions, estimating complex delivery, and managing risks and dependencies.
  • Experience using AI-assisted engineering tools with quality, security, and governance practices.

Additional qualifications and skills

  • Strong people leadership, coaching, delegation, team-building, stakeholder influence, consulting, facilitation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bonus experience may include Next.js, Node.js or NestJS, Adobe Experience Manager or other enterprise CMS, Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, architecture methods, GenAI product capabilities, consulting, or regulated environments.
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is listed as a bonus.
