SAP Finance Lead

Role overview

The work

• Define how data is stored, consumed, integrated, and managed across entities and systems.
• Analyze, design, or implement data practices and technology solutions aligned with governance, predictive modeling, or visualization.
• Initiate domain- or platform-led transformation programs and lead assigned workstream or project activities.
• Coordinate with clients and technical, reporting, conversion, change-management, and project-management teams.
• Improve methods, tools, and procedures; assess business requirements and identify SAP configuration solutions.
• Document requirements, solutions, impacts, alternatives, and decisions.

Required qualifications and experience

• At least five years of SAP FI experience, including GL, AR, AP, PS, and AA, and at least two years of S/4HANA experience.
• At least one year of experience managing teams in a Global Delivery module.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to act as a functional solution architect and provide high-level design expertise.
• Extensive SAP S/4 transformation experience with successful project implementations.
• Experience defining SAP Finance functional roadmaps and strategies and leading finance-process reengineering.
• Ability to engage stakeholders, including C-suite executives, and gain support for functional strategies.
• Must hold federal government security clearance or be eligible to obtain it.
• English is required for regular stakeholder interactions across Canada, the US, and other countries.

Preferred experience

• External consulting experience is a bonus.
• Knowledge of SAP’s business development process is a bonus.

Work arrangement

• Regular travel to client sites is expected.

Compensation

• The stated base pay range is CAD 82,600 to CAD 132,600 annually for British Columbia, Ontario, and New Brunswick.
• Compensation varies based on office location, role, skills, and experience; the range is a guideline and is not a maximum limit.
