Cloud Enterprise Architect

Role overview

What you will do

• Lead architecture and delivery of large or complex full-lifecycle data applications across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises landscapes.
• Own platform-layer reference architecture; lead discovery, data-source inventory and classification, and use-case prioritization.
• Document defensible component sourcing decisions and direct technical work across platform, data, and security teams.
• Design scalable pipelines and data structures; create transformation blueprints and modernization or migration plans.
• Implement efficient processing and business logic for daily, real-time, and streaming frameworks.
• Automate and scale data sets for analytics, data mining, applied intelligence, and visualization use cases.
• Contribute to proposals, recruitment, and other business development activities.

What you will need

• At least 8 years implementing modern data architecture and solutions for scalable, secure enterprise data platforms.
• At least 5 years delivering Data & Analytics solutions on Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, or on-premises infrastructure.
• Hands-on data pipeline experience, including Spark, Kafka, medallion architecture solutions, and orchestration.
• Experience developing or migrating on-premises Spark workloads to the cloud.
• Solutions architect certification in Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Bachelor’s degree or completed college program in computer science or a related field.
• English is required for regular interactions with English-speaking stakeholders across Canada, the US, and other countries.
• Eligibility for Canadian Secret Security clearance is required.
• Consulting or client service delivery experience and a master’s degree are bonuses.

Work arrangement

• The role is hybrid.

Compensation

• Published annual base pay range for British Columbia, Ontario, and New Brunswick: CAD 131,700–278,100.
• The range is a guideline; compensation varies by location, role, skills, and experience and may exceed the range.
