This high profile, highly respected organization is positioned at the junction of Apple’s product teams, the industries that supply core component technologies, and our manufacturing partners who help ensure that products such as iPad, iPhone and Mac can be restocked just as fast as they fly off the shelves.
Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, process engineering or product development.
- Bachelors in an engineering discipline.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in introducing products into manufacturing, or high volume production is a huge plus.
- Excellent project management skills, experience working in a matrix organization. (Planning, Cost, & Delivery).
- Direct experience interfacing with or leading any of the following functional engineering teams a plus (ME, EE, TE, DFX, Etc.).
- Experience working with OEM partners.
- Travel internationally and/or domestically up to 30%.
- Ability to communicate effectively in a worldwide environment.
- New Product Introduction and Manufacturing Operations experience desired.
- Validated working experience with DFm & DFx
- Proven track record of cost reduction, project management and engineering design required.
- Required to understand tolerance stack ups for complex parts, systems, and final assemblies.
- Experience working with and dimensioning different materials a plus
- Solid understanding of GD&T principles a plus
- JMP, Minitab & Six Sigma experience a plus.
