Oversee daily warehouse operations, lead a team, and support operational efficiency, product quality, and inventory accuracy.
The role requires hands-on warehouse operations experience in the UAE.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and guide warehouse team members through daily operations.
- Allocate tasks, coordinate workloads, and use manpower and resources effectively.
- Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and implement improvements to achieve operational targets.
- Ensure incoming and outgoing goods meet quality and condition standards.
- Supervise loading and offloading to prevent product damage, discrepancies, and trade returns.
- Ensure delivery invoices are returned the same day with customer signatures as proof of delivery.
- Verify returned goods against relevant documents to minimise complaints and stock discrepancies.
- Ensure goods received and loaded match quantities specified in orders and documents.
- Support weekly cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Coordinate with Warehouse, Customer Service, Commercial, Audit, Transport, and Sales teams to resolve operational issues.
- Ensure warehouse activities are safe, accurate, and completed within required timelines.
Requirements
- Graduate degree in a relevant discipline.
- At least 5 years of warehouse operations experience in the UAE, with progressive leadership responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and quality standards.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a warehouse team.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong attention to detail focused on operational efficiency, stock accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
