Quality Specialist

Role purpose

Quality management and audits

• Maintain and improve the project's ISO 9001 quality management system and develop, review, and control operational procedures, work instructions, forms, and records.
• Ensure document control and records management meet contract and certification requirements; monitor SEHA contract quality KPIs and SLAs.
• Plan and conduct internal audits and lead preparation for external certification and client audits.
• Inspect SEHA facilities for service quality, treatment records, and pest activity monitoring.
• Raise non-conformances, track corrective and preventive actions, and verify closure.

Business continuity and compliance

• Implement and maintain the project's ISO 22301 business continuity plan; conduct impact analyses and risk assessments for critical services.
• Coordinate continuity exercises and drills and update plans based on lessons learned.
• Ensure compliance with SEHA requirements, Abu Dhabi municipality and health-sector regulations, and environmental standards.
• Verify pesticide use, storage, labelling, and disposal against approved procedures and safety data sheets.
• Act as SEHA quality contact for complaints, investigations, and quality-related correspondence.

Reporting and training

• Prepare monthly quality and performance reports; analyze audit findings, complaints, and KPI trends to identify causes and drive improvements.
• Facilitate management reviews and track agreed actions.
• Deliver quality, business continuity, and procedural awareness training to project staff and technicians and promote continuous improvement.

Experience and education

• A bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• At least eight years of relevant environmental services experience, including at least two years as a Quality Manager.

Certifications and skills

• ISO 9001 Internal or Lead Auditor certification and a BCM Lead Auditor or Implementer course for ISO 22301.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 22301 systems; ability to lead audits, manage corrective actions, and maintain controlled documents.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and ability to work with operations teams and client representatives.
