A Warehouse Operator is responsible for handling the daily operations of a warehouse, including receiving, storing, organizing, and shipping goods efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments
- Load and unload trucks or containers
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
- Maintain accurate inventory records
- Organize and store products in designated locations
- Ensure workplace safety and follow company procedures
- Conduct routine stock checks and report discrepancies
- Keep the warehouse clean and organized
Required Skills And Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to lift heavy items and stand for long periods
- Basic computer and inventory management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Forklift certification may be required
Working Conditions
- Fast-paced warehouse environment
- May require shift work, weekends, or overtime
- Physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, and moving products
