Overview
We are looking for a friendly, patient, and customer-focused waitress to join our team.
The ideal candidate will assist customers by providing menus, explaining daily specials, taking accurate food and beverage orders, and ensuring that all orders are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff according to customer preferences.
A successful waitress should also be knowledgeable about the menu and ingredients served to confidently answer customer inquiries.
The waitress will regularly check on guests to ensure satisfaction with their meals and overall dining experience while maintaining a welcoming and professional attitude.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide menus
- Explain menu items, daily specials, and ingredients
- Take customer orders accurately and relay them to kitchen /Bar staff
- Serve food and beverages promptly
- Check in with customers to ensure satisfaction
- Address customer concerns or complaints professionally
- Prepare bills and process payments efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas
Requirements
- Friendly, approachable, and patient personality
- Strong knowledge of menu items and ingredients
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Flexible with work schedules, including weekends and holidays
- Good coordination and multitasking abilities
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is an advantage
