About This Role
We are seeking a friendly and service-oriented Waiter/Waitress to provide excellent customer service and ensure a pleasant dining experience for guests. The ideal candidate will be attentive, efficient, and able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Present menus, explain dishes, and provide recommendations when required
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system
- Serve food and drinks promptly and according to service standards
- Check on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction and handle any concerns
- Clear tables and reset them for the next guests
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the dining area
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff for smooth service
- Process bills and handle payments accurately
- Follow hygiene, safety, and service standards at all times
- Assist in opening and closing duties
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience in a restaurant in the UAE
- Experience with POS systems
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Multilingual skills are an advantage (Arabic)
- Good upselling and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude and professional appearance
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible with shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Willing to work in Al Ain
