Service duties
- Prepare mise en place for service stations and the pantry.
- Keep sufficient china, cutlery, and glassware available during service.
- Remove dirty dishes, clear tables after guests depart, and set tables as required.
- Obtain service equipment according to the headwaiter's request.
- Arrange tables and chairs according to the table plan and keep service stations clean and tidy.
- Follow the service sequence when serving guests.
- Learn menu terminology for food and beverages and deliver orders from the kitchen and bar.
- Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor and support departmental operations as needed.
Work expectations
- Report for duty on time and wear clean attire.
- Follow the policies and procedures in the department standards of performance manual.
