Role Objective

Guest Service and Operations

• Take food orders and communicate them efficiently to the kitchen.
• Follow the required sequence of service for every guest.
• Anticipate guest needs and meet special requirements in a timely manner.
• Maintain menu knowledge, including ingredients, cooking methods, variations, allergens, taste, texture, spice levels, and portion sizes.
• Sell and upsell restaurant offerings.
• Handle guest complaints and resolve issues using the required procedure.

Cash, Food Safety, and Compliance

• Manage cash, verify amounts and currency, and maintain high cash-control standards.
• Maintain personal hygiene, wash hands frequently, and prevent cross-contamination.
• Ensure food served to guests is safe and free from foreign bodies.
• Complete cleaning tasks to the required standard using a clean-as-you-go approach.
• Observe, report, and help correct hazards, risks, security concerns, and operational issues.
• Follow company policies, operating procedures, uniform standards, and manager instructions.

Teamwork and Administration

• Support and assist team members, including coaching new team members when needed.
• Complete paperwork related to sales, discounts, promotions, and personal HR administration accurately.
• Maintain confidentiality of company procedures, policies, menus, recipes, training materials, and operational information.
• Attend assigned shifts punctually and communicate appropriately about absences.
