Job summary

Responsibilities

• Prepare coffee, espresso-based drinks, tea, and other hot and cold beverages to recipes and quality standards.
• Operate and maintain beverage equipment, including coffee machines, grinders, and blenders.
• Greet customers, take orders, answer menu questions, and handle special requests.
• Maintain beverage quality, presentation, and portion control; process orders and payments using the POS system.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across the coffee station, equipment, counters, and dining areas.
• Monitor supplies, report replenishment needs, conduct inventory checks, rotate stock, and reduce waste.
• Follow food-safety and hygiene regulations; handle feedback and complaints professionally and escalate issues as needed.
• Collaborate with team members and complete assigned opening and closing duties.

Qualifications and experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Hospitality or food-and-beverage training is an advantage.
• Previous Barista or café, restaurant, or similar customer-service experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of espresso preparation, coffee brewing, and milk steaming.
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling; basic understanding of food safety and hygiene.
• Customer service, communication, interpersonal, attention-to-detail, multitasking, teamwork, reliability, and time-management skills.
• Able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as required.
• Basic English communication skills; additional languages are an advantage.

Pay

• QAR 2,000–2,800 per month.
