The Catering Team Leader supervises daily catering operations, coordinates staff, maintains service standards, and supports successful events and guest experiences.
Team and event coordination
- Lead, train, and motivate staff; assign duties and monitor performance during shifts and events.
- Maintain staff grooming, hygiene, and professionalism.
- Assist with planning and executing corporate functions, weddings, banquets, and other catering events.
- Coordinate with kitchen, service staff, and other departments; oversee event setup, service flow, and breakdown.
Service and operations
- Support guest satisfaction, handle inquiries and complaints, and maintain client relationships during events.
- Monitor food quality, presentation, and service timing; ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Manage event inventory, equipment, and supplies; assist with shift scheduling and maintain event and attendance reports.
- Support cost control and efficient resource use.
Qualifications
- Requires 3–5 years of experience in catering, banqueting, or food and beverage service.
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience is required.
- A diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
Pay
- Pay is QAR 200–2,800 per month.
Work arrangement
- Work location is in person.
