Responsibilities
- Provide a positive service experience and make every guest feel welcome and valued.
- Ensure hot food is served hot and cold food is served cold, and meet service timing standards.
- Consolidate service where possible and look for ways to increase table turns.
- Present menus, answer questions, and suggest food and beverages.
- Serve guests courteously and deliver food and beverages to tables as needed.
- Know the food, liquor, beer, wine, and retail offerings; use a positive suggestive-sales approach.
- Pre-bus and bus tables, maintain table cleanliness, and help keep the restaurant clean and safe.
- Look for ways to reduce waste and limit costs.
- Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly and follow cash-handling procedures.
- Report to the property on time in proper uniform.
