Full-time Kitchen Steward role supporting kitchen and restaurant cleanliness, dishwashing, and food preparation.
Responsibilities
- Collect used kitchenware and operate dishwashing machines; hand-wash items that require it.
- Store clean dishes, glasses, and equipment properly and maintain sufficient clean utensils during peak hours.
- Clean and restock dining areas, cook stations, and workstations before meal preparation and between shifts.
- Clean the walking fridge, chiller, dry store, washrooms, kitchen, and floors; sanitize the kitchen.
- Maintain trash cans, remove full bins and boxes, and rinse garbage cans.
- Refill soap and sanitizing-gel dispensers, maintain detergent stock, and place orders when needed.
- Check washing-machine operation and report technical or performance issues.
- Assist chefs with washing vegetables and help other restaurant staff as needed.
- Report kitchen accidents or food-safety violations.
Requirements
- Know the correct use and dilution of cleaning chemicals.
- Reliably commute to Dubai or plan to relocate before starting work.
Pay
- Pay is AED 2,000 per month.
Workplace
- Work is in person.
