Vice President – Digital Engineering

within the

Information Technology Department

at Dubai Holding Corporate. defining and executing the Group-wide Digital Engineering and Platform Strategy, with direct accountability for the design, build, and scaling of enterprise technology capabilities across AI, ERP platforms, Integration Services, Digital Products, and Service Orchestration.

The role ensures that enterprise technology platforms are strategically aligned with Dubai Holding’s business priorities, enabling scalable growth, operational efficiency, and differentiated customer experiences.

A key focus is the governance and execution of integrated product and platform roadmaps across these domains to drive long-term value creation.

The role acts as a strategic partner to the Group CTO and business leadership, translating technology strategy into integrated, platform-driven capabilities that accelerate growth, efficiency, and enterprise value

Role Relationships

  • Group CTO, Group and Vertical Technology Teams, Strategy & Value Creation, Business Verticals, Technology Vendors, System Integrators, Cloud & Platform Providers

Group Digital Engineering And Platform Strategy

  • Define and own the enterprise-wide Digital Engineering strategy aligned to Group and vertical priorities
  • Establish strategic direction across core domains: AI & Data Platforms, ERP & Enterprise Systems, Integration & APIs, Digital Products, Service Orchestration
  • Drive platform consolidation, standardisation, and reuse across business units
  • Translate business priorities into coherent cross-domain platform strategies

Product Roadmap Ownership And Strategic Alignment

  • Own definition, governance, and execution of product and platform roadmaps
  • Align technology investments with business value creation objectives
  • Prioritise initiatives based on ROI, strategic importance, and enterprise impact
  • Eliminate duplication and fragmentation through centralised roadmap governance

Ai And Intelligent Platform Enablement

  • Define and execute the Group AI strategy across enterprise platforms
  • Identify and scale high-value data and AI use cases (automation, personalisation, analytics)
  • Establish AI platform capabilities including data foundations, model lifecycle, and MLOps
  • Drive enterprise adoption of AI-enabled services

Erp And Core Enterprise Platforms

  • Own strategy, operation and transformation of ERP platforms (Oracle) and adjacent systems
  • Lead consolidation, simplification, and standardisation across business entities in line with Enterprise Architectural patterns
  • Ensure ERP technology-stack supports scalable, integrated, and efficient business operations
  • Review and align ERP roadmap with business capability needs

Integration Services And Enterprise Connectivity

  • Define and lead Group-wide integration strategy (APIs, middleware, event-driven architecture)
  • Build, operate and scale integration platforms (API gateways, iPaaS) (Informatica, Frends)
  • Establish standardised integration patterns to eliminate complexity
  • Enable seamless interoperability across enterprise and vertical systems

Digital Products And Services

  • Lead strategy and delivery of Group IT digital product platforms
  • Define product operating models, lifecycle management, and engineering frameworks
  • Drive development of scalable, reusable digital services
  • Align digital product outcomes with growth, engagement, and customer experience
  • Evaluate, implement and scale blockchain and tokenisation platforms to support digital asset enablement, new business models, and ecosystem partnerships with Strategy & Value Creation

Service Orchestration And Platform Operating Model

  • Define and implement service orchestration capabilities (ServiceNow)
  • Enable end-to-end service delivery across ERP, integration, and digital layers
  • Establish frameworks to unify fragmented workflows and services
  • Drive adoption of platform-based operating models

Engineering Excellence And Delivery

  • Establish best-in-class engineering practices (DevSecOps, CI/CD, agile delivery)
  • Drive engineering quality, productivity, and scalability
  • Lead complex transformation programmes across multiple entities
  • Ensure delivery aligns with strategic priorities and roadmap commitment

Stakeholder Collaboration And Communication

  • Act as a trusted advisor to Group CTO and senior leadership across the Group
  • Translate technology strategies into clear business outcomes
  • Align stakeholders across technology, product, and business domains
  • Provide executive-level communication and reporting

Vendor And Partner Ecosystem

  • Define and manage strategic partnerships (ERP, cloud, AI, platforms)
  • Oversee system integrators and delivery partners
  • Ensure vendor accountability, performance, and value realisation
  • Continuously scout market for potential future technologies and partners to support the long-term Group IT Strategy
  • Who we are looking for:
  • 12–15+ years in large-scale enterprise technology delivery and operations
  • 8–10+ years in senior leadership roles managing large engineering and product organisations
  • Proven experience leading enterprise-wide transformation programmes
  • Experience in complex, multi-entity organisations (real estate, hospitality, construction or similar sectors preferred)

Education And Professional Certification

  • Minimum requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field
  • Master’s Degree (MBA or MSc) strongly preferred

• PMP And PRINCE2

  • ITIL v4
  • TOGAF or Enterprise Architecture certifications
  • Agile / SAFe certifications

  • Deep expertise across:
  • AI & Data Platforms (Foundry, MS Fabric, MLOPs)

• Digital Product Platforms (Webflow And Acquia)

  • Service orchestration and platform operating models (ServiceNow)
  • Experience blockchain infrastructure, smart contracts, and tokenisation frameworks, including their integration into enterprise platforms and digital product ecosystems
  • Strong knowledge of cloud-native architectures, microservices, and DevSecOps
  • Ability to define and execute multi-domain enterprise platform strategies
