Vice President, Client Solutions- Global Transaction Banking

Role overview

Strategy and team leadership

• Support client origination strategy and advise teams on business priorities, client opportunities, and revenue initiatives.
• Lead strategic initiatives and develop recommendations and business cases using data analysis and market insights.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of four; manage performance, priorities, resources, and succession planning.
• Develop team capabilities in transaction banking, treasury, client management, analytics, and strategic execution.

Clients and transformation

• Support client reviews, presentations, proposals, and RFP responses; manage escalations and represent the business in client and industry engagements.
• Drive process improvements and strategic changes, including product enhancements, regulatory programs, and transformation.
• Partner with Technology, Operations, Compliance, Risk, and Finance on enterprise initiatives and controls.
• Act as a treasury, banking, regulatory, and finance subject matter expert; support thought leadership, training, and knowledge-sharing.

Education and experience

• Undergraduate degree required; MBA or advanced business designation is an asset.
• 10+ years in financial services focused on Global Transaction Banking, Treasury Management, Corporate Banking, Cash Management, or related fields.
• Experience leading complex initiatives, influencing senior stakeholders, and supporting corporate and financial institution clients.

Knowledge and technical skills

• Deep transaction banking knowledge, including cash management, payments, liquidity, receivables, and treasury solutions.
• Strong business and financial acumen, leadership, negotiation, communication, analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint proficiency, strong SQL skills, and experience with complex datasets.
• Experience building dashboards and management reports with Power BI or similar tools.
• Databricks, enterprise data warehouses, and modern analytics platforms are listed as familiarity; Python or other scripting experience is an asset.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, GitHub, or similar workflow and collaboration tools.

Location and travel

• Based in Toronto; periodic travel may be required to support clients, strategic initiatives, and business activities across global regions.

Compensation

• Base pay is listed as CAD $150,000–$160,000, with eligibility for discretionary variable compensation; no pay cadence is specified.
