Analyst, Client Solutions – Global Transaction Banking

Role overview

Analytics and process improvement

• Develop reporting solutions, dashboards, and visualizations; analyze datasets and identify trends, risks, opportunities, and performance drivers.
• Define reporting requirements, KPIs, and success measures with stakeholders and deliver data-driven recommendations.
• Automate reporting and improve data access through self-service solutions.
• Monitor critical processes and implement workflow improvements and automation to reduce manual effort and operational risk.
• Support monthly billing accuracy and continuous improvement initiatives.

Governance and business support

• Maintain process documentation, data dictionaries, governance artifacts, and control documentation.
• Support data quality, security, governance, regulatory reviews, audits, testing, and remediation.
• Gather and document business requirements and liaise between business and technology teams on solution design and implementation.
• Partner with Origination, Client Management, Product, Operations, Technology, Risk, and other stakeholders.
• Support change management for new processes, tools, capabilities, and initiatives.

Education and experience

• Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in business analysis, BI, data analytics, operations, financial services, or a related discipline.
• Experience in Transaction Banking, Treasury Services, Cash Management, Payments, or Capital Markets is an asset.

Technical and professional qualifications

• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint proficiency and strong SQL skills with large datasets.
• Experience developing dashboards and reports with Power BI or similar BI tools.
• Familiarity with Databricks, data warehouses, and modern analytics platforms; Python or other scripting experience is an asset.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, GitHub, or similar tools is listed.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, stakeholder management, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.

Pay details

• Base pay is listed as CAD 90,000–CAD 100,000, with eligibility for a discretionary variable compensation award.
