REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related and 8 years of experience in job offered or related position. Experience must include: Performing architecture design, diagnostics, validation and integration across vehicle platforms; Use of Vector CAN tools, including CANoe, CANalyzer, and associated scripting environments for troubleshooting, simulation and fault injection; Applying CAN, CAN FD, Ethernet and LIN bus protocols and analysis for electrical system troubleshooting; Performing diagnostic protocols and interpret DTCs (Diagnostic Trouble Codes) and UDS (Unified Diagnostic Services) protocols; Interpreting waveforms, voltage/current traces, and transient behaviors; Diagnosing faults in wiring harnesses, ECUs, sensors and actuators; Conducting vehicle-level diagnostics and triage in real-world environments including assembly plants, pilot builds, proving grounds and road trips; Understanding of automotive systems, including powertrain, body electronics, infotainment and ADAS; Applying expertise in electrical/electronic architecture design, integration and validation.
