Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related degree
- 10+ years of engineering experience including a minimum of 5 years of management experience
- Experience in the automotive industry and product development
- Self-directed, team oriented with demonstrated planning/problem-solving skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to deal with a variety of people at all levels of the organization
- Ability to collect and synthesize data into meaningful information and communicate clearly to all levels of the organization
- Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced Degree
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build solid partnerships, both internally and externally
- Expertise in planning, prioritizing, and goal setting including the ability to manage multiple projects, determining project urgency, creating detailed action plans, and organizing schedules, people, and tasks
- Assertive and ambitious nature
- Results oriented
- Motivated to learn new principles and ideas, and have excitement in applying these new principles
