Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in infrastructure and utility construction supervision, preferably within major development or infrastructure projects.
- Strong practical experience in supervising wet and dry utility networks and associated infrastructure works.
- Good knowledge of applicable UAE and Abu Dhabi engineering codes, standards, specifications, and authority requirements.
- Familiarity with requirements and approval processes of relevant Abu Dhabi authorities and utility entities, including DMT/municipal requirements, Abu Dhabi City Municipality, DoE, ADDC/TAQA Distribution, Abu Dhabi Civil Defence, Etisalat/e&, du, and other relevant authorities/service providers as applicable to the project.
- Ability to review and interpret IFC drawings, specifications, method statements, ITPs, shop drawings, and authority-approved documents.
- Strong understanding of utility coordination, interfaces, testing, commissioning, as-built documentation, and handover requirements.
- Experience working with Consultants, Contractors, Subcontractors, and Government/Utility Authorities.
- Strong site supervision, coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills
