Permanent position based onsite in Dubai, UAE.
Key responsibilities
- Support daily port operations and planning for government and naval contracts; monitor service delivery and resolve or escalate issues.
- Coordinate sub-agents, suppliers, port authorities, and government stakeholders across regions.
- Support bid analysis, pricing, and cost benchmarking for government maritime tenders.
- Coordinate regional teams and suppliers to meet naval requirements; maintain competitor and operational data for bidding and pricing decisions.
- Work with internal teams and vendors to improve operational readiness, supply-chain efficiency, KPIs, logistics, warehousing, and vendor management.
- Track bid success, service quality, and cost performance; report operational performance, competitor activity, and market intelligence.
Candidate requirements
- Degree-level qualification from a reputable institution.
- 10+ years of maritime industry experience, mainly in navy vessel operations, with exposure to services delivered to vessels in port.
- 5+ years of experience handling naval vessel operations at port.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of government tendering and procurement processes.
- Competent user of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and data analysis tools.
Workplace and contract
- Permanent contract; onsite in Dubai, UAE.
