Role overview
The Boarding Executive reports to the Operations Manager and boards ships in port and offshore at designated ports to support shipping operations and outdoor activities.
Location: Jeddah, Saudi Arabia; onsite.
Key responsibilities
- Attend vessels in port and at anchorage and complete required documentation.
- Communicate vessel movements and requirements to operations colleagues.
- Coordinate crew clearances with port security, immigration, and customs.
- Assist with airport clearances, personnel transport, and documentation.
- Coordinate vessel supplies, landed-item transport and storage, and safe handling.
- Maintain trip records and operational logs; process seamen visa applications and resolve immigration delays.
- Support local purchasing and general operations and follow company procedures and instructions.
Candidate requirements
- 2–5 years in a similar shipping or port agency role and a good understanding of port operations and agency services.
- Knowledge of Middle Eastern ports and regulations; Grade 12 education or equivalent; valid driving licence.
- Good spoken English, computer literacy, communication, customer service, organization, planning, and coordination skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
