UAE Maintenance Manager (CAR 145 Post Holder)

Role overview

Maintenance leadership and compliance

• Own the MOE and supporting procedures, including drafting, submission, revision control, and alignment with approved scope and capability lists.
• Direct maintenance planning, work packages, task allocation, defect rectification, shift handovers, and technical records for base and line maintenance.
• Lead UAE team recruitment, development, rostering, and manpower and licence-coverage forecasting.
• Administer certifying and support staff authorizations under CAR 66 and CAR 145, training programmes, and competence records.
• Ensure facilities, tooling, calibrated equipment, ground support equipment, stores, and aircraft-part traceability meet CAR 145 requirements; lead UAE facility build-out and spares provisioning.
• Keep approved maintenance data current, controlled, and accessible; plan and record its embodiment.
• Coordinate with CAMO on maintenance programmes, airworthiness reviews, deferred defects, MEL rectification intervals, reliability data, and continuing-airworthiness records.
• Align UAE processes with Joby OEM and FAA Part 145 repair-station practices, and feed UAE service findings back to the OEM.
• Support compliance audits, findings, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and GCAA inspections and approval-scope applications.
• Uphold occurrence reporting and safety risk management, promote a strong safety culture, and report maintenance performance, airworthiness status, and resource risks to the Accountable Manager.

Role qualifications
