[UAE] Data Scientist

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Define data needs, business objectives, and success measures with client leaders, engineers, and analysts.
• Acquire, prepare, and explore structured and unstructured data.
• Build, evaluate, and productionize predictive models and machine learning algorithms, including NLP and generative AI use cases.
• Develop and manage data pipelines and production data ecosystems.
• Create dashboards and visualizations; present findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical client audiences.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams on cloud deployment.
• Contribute to business development, internal accelerators, and data science assets.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Computer Science, AI, Statistics, or Engineering.
• 4 to 6 years of experience as a data scientist or in a comparable applied machine learning role.
• Strong Python and SQL, and solid knowledge of machine learning and statistical techniques.
• Experience taking models from exploration to production and working with large structured and unstructured datasets.
• Experience with data pipelines, data ecosystem management, and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Experience presenting to client stakeholders; strong problem-solving skills and business acumen.
• Based in the UAE (Dubai or Abu Dhabi).

Languages and preferred credentials

• Professional proficiency in English is required; Arabic is a plus.
• Certification in AI/ML, data science, or a cloud platform is a plus.
• Management consulting experience is not required.
