[UAE] AI Solution Architect

Role overview

Architecture and client delivery

• Own end-to-end data and AI project architecture, including cloud infrastructure, data pipelines, model serving, generative AI, and agent-based systems.
• Design agent orchestration and the model layer, including selection and use of open-weight models.
• Define application modernization paths that embed AI into client systems and processes.
• Advise senior client stakeholders and align designs with business objectives, security policies, and applicable regulation.
• Lead client workshops and present architecture options to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Lead architecture reviews and technical governance; provide hands-on guidance to unblock delivery teams.
• Design for scalability, reliability, observability, production readiness, and cost.
• Support scoping, architecture proposals, effort estimates, and project pipeline development.
• Apply responsible AI and compliance practices; mentor junior colleagues and contribute to internal IP and reference architectures.

Qualifications and experience

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field.
• 8+ years in solution or cloud architecture, or a senior engineering role with significant design ownership.
• Deep multi-cloud architecture expertise, including networking, security, compute, storage, and managed AI/ML services.
• Experience designing agent orchestration and model layers, including open-weight models.
• Knowledge of classical machine learning, deep learning, generative AI, autonomous agents, and data engineering.
• Experience taking AI solutions from proof of concept to production.
• Ability to engage senior clients, lead workshops, and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Familiarity with AI compliance frameworks and responsible AI practices; sound judgment on architectural trade-offs.

Preferred credentials and languages

• Professional-level cloud architecture or data engineering certification is highly preferable; examples include AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, or Databricks Professional Data Engineer.
• Professional proficiency in English is required; Arabic is a plus.
• Based in the UAE (Dubai or Abu Dhabi).
• Management consulting experience is not required.
