UAE Corporate Tax Manager

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Manage tax computations, returns, payments, and reporting.
• Oversee tax provisions, reconciliations, and tax-related financial disclosures.
• Advise on transactions, restructuring, and operational matters.
• Monitor tax developments and assess their impact on the business.
• Identify tax risks and opportunities and recommend mitigation and tax-efficient solutions.
• Coordinate audits, reviews, and inquiries with advisors and stakeholders.
• Support transfer pricing compliance and documentation.
• Collaborate across finance, accounting, legal, and business teams on reporting and controls.
• Manage external advisors and support tax projects and process improvements.
• Guide team members and promote tax governance best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.
• Significant corporate tax, compliance, and advisory experience; multinational or professional services experience preferred.
• Strong corporate tax, tax reporting, and international tax knowledge.
• Experience with tax risk management, audits, transfer pricing, and tax planning.
• Analytical, problem-solving, financial reporting, communication, stakeholder management, and project management skills.
• Attention to detail, integrity, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting systems; ERP experience is advantageous.
• Fluent English and ability to work effectively in a multicultural business environment.

Preferred qualifications

• ACCA, CPA, ACA, or equivalent professional qualification is preferred.
