Role overview

Treaty operations and systems

• Establish governance frameworks, risk management parameters, and internal audit controls with underwriting and compliance teams.
• Monitor adherence to underwriting guidelines, risk appetite, capacity allocation, and exposure management across corporate, Bermuda, and London operations.
• Support treaty reinsurance reporting and underwriting systems using AI, Power BI, and Microsoft Excel.
• Coordinate corporate enhancements with IT, BI, innovation, and London Market operational change teams.
• Serve as the team's main contact for corporate system updates and communicate changes clearly.
• Support a high-performance, compliant, and collaborative office culture.
• Help underwriters maintain complete, up-to-date lines-of-business bordereaux.

Administrative support

• Produce renewal and ad hoc reports using ERS/SBS.
• Manage inward and outward reconciliations accurately and on time.
• Assist with ad hoc underwriting and team projects and Pega tasks.

Essential skills and experience

• High-level IT and BI skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, including SQL and VBA.
• Strong mathematics, focus, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and long hours if required.
• Calm manner and excellent communication skills.

Desirable knowledge

• Knowledge of reinsurance contract wordings is an advantage.
• AI skills are desirable.
• Pega or ERS knowledge is desirable.
