What You'll Do
- Lead and supervise field crews on heavy civil and structural concrete construction projects.
- Oversee concrete operations, including forming, rebar installation, concrete placement, and structural repairs.
- Plan and coordinate daily work activities, manpower, equipment, materials, and subcontractors.
- Partner with Project Managers and Superintendents to maintain project schedules, productivity, and quality.
- Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documents.
- Promote VSL's Safety 24/7 culture and ensure safe work practices across all jobsite activities.
- Train, mentor, and develop field employees while maintaining accurate daily reports and production records.
- Troubleshoot field challenges and help keep projects moving forward.
- What We're Looking For
- Hands-on concrete construction experience required, preferably in heavy civil, structural concrete, or infrastructure projects.
- Previous experience leading construction crews as a Foreman, General Foreman, Assistant Superintendent, or similar role.
- Experience with concrete tanks, water/wastewater structures, or other heavy civil concrete projects strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of concrete construction methods, field operations, and jobsite safety.
- Ability to read construction drawings and effectively coordinate crews and resources.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel extensively throughout the Rocky Mountain region, including extended stays at project locations.
- Post-tensioning experience and bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.

- Hourly Pay: $27–$36/hour, based on experience.
- Estimated Annual Earnings: $83,000–$110,000, including anticipated overtime and bonuses.
- Travel Per Diem: $45/day for qualifying travel assignments.
