The employer seeks a Travel Consultant with experience in a similar role in Dubai, including air ticketing, UAE visit visa processing, and tour organization.
Responsibilities
- Handle domestic and international air, hotel, ground transportation, visa, and insurance bookings.
- Manage UAE tourist visa applications and documentation; advise clients on fares, itineraries, and travel options.
- Follow corporate travel policies and approval processes; manage changes, cancellations, and reissuances while minimizing costs.
- Liaise with airlines, hotels, and vendors to negotiate rates and resolve issues.
- Provide customer support and maintain relationships with suppliers and travel partners.
- Provide 24/7 support for urgent travel requirements if applicable.
Requirements and qualifications
- The description specifies at least 2 years of travel-consultant experience and separately states 4–5 years of relevant experience in the Dubai travel and tourism industry.
- Strong knowledge of GDS systems such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo.
- Solid knowledge of UAE travel regulations and visa processes.
- Strong communication and client-handling skills; ability to work under pressure and handle last-minute changes.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a customer-service-oriented mindset.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 3,000–4,000 per month.
