Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Travel Agent role based in Dubai.
The Travel Agent will be responsible for handling end-to-end travel arrangements for clients, including flights, accommodations, car rentals, and related services, while ensuring a seamless and personalized experience.
Day-to-day tasks include responding to client inquiries, preparing travel itineraries, managing bookings and modifications, and providing proactive travel advice and support before, during, and after trips.
The role involves coordinating with airlines, hotels, transport providers, and other partners to secure competitive rates and ensure service quality.
The Travel Agent will also maintain accurate records, process payments, promote relevant services, and collaborate closely with the concierge team to integrate travel plans into broader lifestyle management solutions.
Qualifications
- Strong reservations and booking management skills, including handling changes and cancellations with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in organizing comprehensive travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, and related services, with a focus on tailored itineraries.
- Experience in car rental coordination, including selecting appropriate options and managing vendor relationships.
- Proven customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, handle complex requests, and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Sales and upselling abilities, with a client-centered approach to recommending services and enhancing overall travel experiences.
- Prior experience as a Travel Agent or in a similar travel/hospitality role; knowledge of global destinations and travel documentation is an advantage.
- Familiarity with travel booking systems or GDS platforms and strong general computer literacy.
- Excellent spoken and written English; additional languages commonly used in Dubai are a plus.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple client requests and work in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of professionalism, cultural sensitivity, and discretion when dealing with diverse client needs and confidential information.
