Oversee and coordinate the company's transportation operations, vehicle fleet, and drivers in Dubai.
The employer seeks an experienced, responsible manager with organizational and leadership skills and knowledge of UAE traffic regulations and vehicle management.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily transportation operations and vehicle allocation; plan routes, schedules, and driver assignments.
- Monitor vehicle maintenance, servicing, registration, and insurance renewals and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Track fuel consumption, vehicle expenses, and budgets; supervise drivers, attendance, and performance.
- Maintain fleet and driver records and coordinate transport needs with HR, Operations, and other departments.
- Handle breakdowns, accidents, traffic fines, and other transport issues; negotiate with garages, suppliers, and service providers.
- Report on fleet performance, vehicle utilization, and expenses; improve efficiency and driver safety.
Requirements
- Previous transport or fleet management experience; UAE experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of UAE traffic laws, RTA requirements, and vehicle documentation.
- Leadership, organizational, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage drivers, schedules, and multiple transport requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and transportation record management.
- A valid UAE driving licence is an advantage.
- Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage.
Work arrangement
- Work location is in person in Dubai, UAE.
