About the Role
The Training Specialist works with the Talent Development team to identify training needs, deliver learning, and help employees apply learning in the workplace.
The role supports the design, delivery, and evaluation of training programmes and creates engaging learning materials.
The role supports new-joiner onboarding and product, brand, and supplier training across Sanipex Group.
Training Needs and Learning Development
- Identify training needs with managers and stakeholders.
- Develop learning plans aligned with business priorities.
- Create engaging training and digital learning content.
Training Delivery and Facilitation
- Deliver workshops, bite-sized learning, showroom activities, and onboarding sessions in person and virtually.
- Adapt delivery to different audiences and needs.
Product and Supplier Training
- Support product, brand, and supplier training with accurate and relevant content.
- Help teams build product knowledge and engage customers confidently.
New-Joiner Onboarding
- Coordinate and deliver onboarding training covering company standards, systems, tools, and customer-experience expectations.
- Monitor new-joiner learning progress.
Learning Measurement and Improvement
- Track training participation, learning application, and progress, and maintain LMS records.
- Use feedback and data to identify capability gaps and improve learning.
- Build stakeholder relationships, share best practices, and recommend improvements.
Candidate Profile
- The role focuses on learning and development and training in a customer-focused showroom environment.
- Around five years of experience in training, learning and development, retail or sales training, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in retail, luxury, interior design, or another customer-facing environment is preferred.
- Strong communication, facilitation, coaching, relationship-building, organisation, and stakeholder-management skills are expected.
- The role requires independent work and collaboration with managers, sales teams, product teams, and brand teams.
Core Capabilities
- Create engaging learning materials and programmes.
- Deliver in-person and virtual training.
- Observe employees, provide coaching and feedback, and track training participation and results through an LMS.
- Identify capability gaps and recommend improvements to employee knowledge, customer experience, and sales capability.
