About the role

Accounts payable and supplier activities

• Reconcile supplier accounts, verify freight invoices weekly, allocate payments for general and trade suppliers, and prepare debit notes.
• Process AR-AP offsets for agency commissions and marketing contributions.
• Raise marketing invoices for supplier contributions, process customer rebate invoices, and manage commission invoicing.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve queries and discrepancies.
• Prepare weekly supplier due and advance payment lists, participate in payment planning meetings, and monitor supplier ageing and outstanding balances.
• Provide monthly reporting on supplier accounts and retail division rebates.

Controls and improvement

• Complete month-end activities on time and comply with internal approval procedures and financial controls.
• Support internal and external audits and contribute to process improvements and special finance projects as required.

About you

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and sound understanding of accounting principles.
• At least 5 years of relevant Accounts Payable experience; experience in a reputable UAE manufacturing or retail organization is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX or a similar ERP system, strong accounts payable knowledge, and excellent MS Excel skills.
• Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, prioritization, and deadline management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
