The Role
We are seeking an experienced Trade & Operations Manager to oversee distributor management and commercial operations across Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, Morocco, Egypt, and other MENA markets (excluding UAE and KSA).
This role is both strategic and operational, responsible for driving market expansion, managing distributor performance, and ensuring smooth export and supply chain execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop distributors across assigned MENA markets for Korean and Asian food products
- Expand market coverage across all channels: Modern Trade (MT), Traditional Trade (TT), Wholesale, and Foodservice
- Monitor and manage SKU listings, distribution, and performance by market
- Ensure optimal product visibility, promotions, and execution in line with brand strategy
- Appoint, evaluate, and manage distributors to ensure effective market penetration and compliance
- Coordinate export operations, ensuring smooth shipment execution and adherence to each market’s import and regulatory requirements
- Act as the key commercial and operational point of contact for assigned markets
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in trade, brand, or commercial management within the MENA region
- Strong understanding of distributor-led markets and multi-channel execution
- Experience with Korean and/or Asian food products is highly preferred
- Solid knowledge of export operations, logistics, and regional regulatory requirements
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Willingness to travel within the MENA region
