Role overview
Lead visitors through Emirates Bio Farm and educate them about sustainable farming, organic agriculture, and farm operations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct guided tours explaining sustainable practices and organic agriculture.
- Explain crop varieties, growing cycles, and health benefits.
- Offer hands-on harvesting or planting demonstrations.
- Answer visitor questions and foster discussion about sustainability and environmental stewardship.
- Help develop tour materials and presentations about farm practices and philosophy.
- Promote farm products, events, and workshops during tours and on social media.
- Ensure visitor safety and comfort and follow safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Strong public speaking and communication skills; passion for educating others about organic practices and environmental issues.
- Engage audiences including children, adults, and families; work comfortably outdoors in varying weather.
- Bring an energetic, service-oriented, proactive approach and work effectively with multicultural teams.
- Be physically ready for outdoor event work and flexible to work weekends or holidays.
Preferred qualifications
- Tour-guide or educator experience in an agricultural or environmental setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in multiple languages is preferred.
Work arrangement
- Full-time position with in-person work in Dubai, UAE.
