Ticketing Officer

Key Responsibilities

• Purchase and secure tickets for all tour products, including rail transportation, mountain excursions, attraction entries, museums, boat services, transportation passes, activities, events, and third-party tourism services.
• Ensure tickets are purchased according to booking requirements, operational deadlines, supplier conditions, and availability.
• Verify passenger information, dates, schedules, product inclusions, and booking details prior to ticket issuance.
• Coordinate with suppliers, transport operators, attractions, and external partners to secure confirmations and resolve ticketing matters.
• Maintain strong working relationships with suppliers and operational partners.
• Monitor ticket inventory, availability restrictions, seasonal allocations, and supplier booking conditions.
• Manage urgent operational requests, booking modifications, cancellations, and last-minute ticket arrangements.
• Update internal systems with ticket references, confirmations, and operational notes while maintaining accurate records and documentation.
• Organize ticket distribution to operational teams, tour guides, or customers within required timelines.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure all purchased services match operational requirements and customer bookings.
• Monitor ticket costs and support cost-control measures while maintaining purchasing accuracy.
• Reconcile ticket purchases against confirmed bookings and assist finance teams with invoice verification when required.
• Support operational continuity by proactively identifying and resolving ticket-related issues before they impact service delivery.
• Work closely with reservations, operations, customer service, and management teams to ensure efficient execution of tour products.
• Assist in improving ticketing workflows, supplier processes, and operational efficiencies.

Requirements

• Previous experience in tourism operations, ticketing, reservations, travel administration, or a related operational role.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize workloads and perform efficiently under pressure.
• Strong communication and supplier coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining accuracy.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Experience with reservation systems, ticketing platforms, or tourism operational software is considered an advantage.
• Knowledge of tourism operations, transport systems, or destination management is beneficial.
• The Ticketing Officer serves as an essential operational function within the business, ensuring that every tour product is fully prepared and supported through timely, accurate, and efficient ticket procurement and coordination.
