Role description
The Third-Party Risk Manager oversees assessment, monitoring, and mitigation of risks associated with vendors, partners, and other external service providers.
This is a part-time hybrid role based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates, with on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility.
Responsibilities
- Conduct risk assessments and review contracts and service-level agreements.
- Maintain third-party risk registers and ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant regulations.
- Work with finance, operations, and compliance teams to implement risk controls.
- Track remediation activities and prepare periodic management reports.
- Develop and refine frameworks and procedures for third-party onboarding, due diligence, and ongoing monitoring.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in third-party risk management, vendor management, or enterprise risk management.
- Strong risk-assessment, due-diligence, and control-design skills for third-party relationships.
- Ability to review contracts, service-level agreements, and compliance documentation.
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements relevant to financial services and SME support environments.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, or risk-management tools for tracking and reporting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with attention to detail.
- Clear written and verbal communication; ability to present complex risk information to diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, risk management, economics, or a related field; risk or compliance certification is an advantage.
- Interest in SME development and financial literacy and alignment with the company’s mission.
