hermodynamics engineer

to join a leading engineering team supporting advanced power generation and gas turbine projects.

The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in thermodynamic cycle analysis, performance evaluation, and efficiency optimization of energy systems.

🔹 Perform thermodynamic analysis of gas turbines, combined cycle plants, and auxiliary systems

🔹 Evaluate plant and equipment performance, efficiency, heat rates, and energy losses

🔹 Develop and validate thermal models for power generation systems

🔹 Analyze operational data and identify opportunities for performance improvement

🔹 Support troubleshooting activities related to turbine performance, combustion, and heat balance issues

🔹 Conduct performance testing and prepare technical reports and recommendations

🔹 Collaborate with mechanical, controls, and operations teams to optimize plant performance

🔹 Support feasibility studies, upgrades, retrofits, and energy efficiency initiatives

🔹 Ensure compliance with industry standards, engineering practices, and safety requirements

✔ Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or related discipline

✔ 5+ years of experience in thermodynamics, power generation, gas turbines, steam turbines, or combined cycle plants

✔ Strong understanding of:

✔ Experience with thermal modeling and engineering analysis tools

✔ Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

✔ Excellent communication and technical reporting skills

⭐ Gas Turbine OEM, Power Plant, EPC, or Energy Industry background

⭐ Experience with performance monitoring, optimization, and troubleshooting of thermal systems

⭐ Knowledge of international power generation standards and best practices
