Basic Qualifications:
- Associates Degree in Automotive Technology OR HS Diploma/GED and an ASE certification
- Good verbal, written, and record keeping skills required
- Must have computer experience (Windows applications), camera skills
- Positive attitude, good teamwork and customer service skills
- Experience using hand, bench, and machine tools
- Experience systematically tearing down assemblies looking for root cause
- Ability to test electrical components such as relays, solenoids, switches, etc.
- Must be able to work in a diverse group with other staff members to address component issues as required
- Must be a team player and help in other components areas at a moment's notice
- Ability to drive a walk-behind Hilo/stacker
- Willing to work off-shift hours, holidays, and weekends if required
Preferred Qualifications:
- ASE Certification or Master Mechanic preferred
- Must have powertrain/drivetrain experience with disassembly and analyzing failed transmissions, electric motors, and related components
- Possess general vehicle operating knowledge with all vehicle components
- All candidates will be required to produce documents at time of interview
