Role overview

Test Engineer responsibilities

• Evaluate functionality, performance, and reliability of products, systems, and technical components.
• Develop test plans and prepare test cases; conduct assessments, analyze results, and document findings.
• Collaborate with engineering, development, and quality teams to identify defects and investigate technical issues.
• Verify products against specifications; configure equipment and perform functional or performance tests as needed.
• Maintain test documentation, support validation, and recommend corrective actions.
• Improve testing procedures and quality control, and follow technical standards.

Civil Engineer responsibilities

• Contribute to planning, design, development, and evaluation of infrastructure and construction projects.
• Review drawings, conduct design calculations, evaluate construction materials, and assess project specifications.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, consultants, and other engineering professionals to resolve technical challenges and support delivery.
• Prepare reports, monitor progress, coordinate inspections, and review construction documentation as needed.
• Identify project risks, recommend design improvements, and support compliance with building codes, safety requirements, and regulations.

Qualifications

• A degree or diploma in Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, technical specifications, testing procedures, and quality assurance.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, engineering documentation, test plans, and performance data.
• For Test Engineer roles, familiarity with testing equipment, defect analysis, validation, and troubleshooting is advantageous.
• For Civil Engineer roles, knowledge of construction materials, structural principles, infrastructure systems, and engineering design is beneficial.
• Understanding of safety requirements, quality control, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance.
• Familiarity with CAD, engineering simulation tools, testing instruments, or data analysis applications is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office for reporting, documentation, and data analysis.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills; attention to detail.
• Commitment to quality, technical accuracy, workplace safety, and continuous improvement; proactive, adaptable, and willing to learn.
