Role Overview
Communication & Ground Control Engineer for the Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV) Hull Division.
The role builds and manages long-range communication links, hull antenna integration, and operator control systems for autonomous USVs.

Compensation
- Salary is AED 8,000–10,000 per month.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and integrate long-range RF links for USVs, including hull integration.
- Design antenna mounting and placement and perform hull RF integration for line-of-sight and coverage.
- Set up and manage 4G/5G/SATCOM connectivity for USV operations.
- Develop and maintain operator Ground Control Station software.
- Ensure reliable, low-latency telemetry and video links in marine environments.
- Handle waterproof RF enclosures, IP-rated systems, and cable routing inside the hull.
- Test communications systems during dockside and sea trials.
- Coordinate integration with hull design and electrical teams.
Technical Skills
- Marine telemetry systems including Silvus, Microhard, and Ubiquiti.
- Network setup, antenna integration, and RF planning.
- QGroundControl or custom web-based GCS development.
- Marine RF challenges and ruggedized communications design.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in RF, telemetry, communication systems, GCS, or hull integration.
- Experience with UAV/USV/robotics GCS and hull-mounted communication systems is preferred.
- Degree in Electronics, Communication, RF Engineering, or a related field.
Work Location
- Work location is Abu Dhabi, UAE.
- Field testing includes dockside and sea trials.
