Role overview

Temporary position with full-time hours for the duration of the contract.

Serve as the first point of contact in the store, helping customers choose products and services while supporting an efficient customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and assist with product and service inquiries; prepare quotes, explain options, and support sales decisions.
  • Complete vehicle check-ins by gathering mileage, tire condition, and service details outdoors in all weather.
  • Look up parts, pricing, and availability using internal systems; prepare invoices and process transactions accurately.
  • Answer calls, book appointments, and maintain accurate customer records.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, safe work environment and coordinate with the shop team to provide a smooth customer experience.

Requirements

  • Previous customer service and sales experience.
  • Interest in automotive work; tires, basic vehicle knowledge, or parts lookup is an asset.
  • Comfort working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions; strong communication and a practical, customer-first approach.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting, lift 30–50 pounds as required, and work safely as part of a team.
  • A valid driver’s license is an asset.

Compensation

  • Hourly wage: $19.56.

Schedule and training

  • Shifts are scheduled within store operating hours and may include weekends.
  • Multiple training dates start in September 2026.

Work location

  • Store-based role at 715 Speedvale Ave W, Guelph, Ontario.
  • Vehicle check-ins may take place outdoors in all weather conditions.
